About this item

  • Ready-to-Paint Gesso Panel: Acid-free acrylic gesso creates a perfectly smooth, even painting surface—no sealing, sanding, or prep required. Ideal for crisp brushwork, clean wipes, fine detail, and artists who want a flawless ground straight out of the package.
  • Versatile for Oil, Acrylic & Mixed Media: Works beautifully with acrylics, oils, alcohol inks, gouache, casein, graphite, airbrush, collage, image transfers, photo mounting, and mixed media. Ideal for portraits and plein air, giving oil and acrylic painters exceptional control, ultra-fine detail, and the cleanest wipes. The smooth surface also makes it a favorite for acrylic pouring.
  • Greater Detail, Brighter Color: The ultra-smooth surface is naturally uniform for precise detail, clean pours, and controlled layering. And because rigid panels reflect light rather than absorbing it (like canvas surfaces), colors appear brighter, more vivid, and more defined.
  • Ready-to-Hang Details: Offered in 1/8" and 3/8" flat profiles as well as 7/8" and 1½" cradled depths. The 3/8" flat panel and all cradled profiles feature fully primed edges so artwork can wrap cleanly around the sides, while the 3/8" flat panel adds a built-in keyhole hanger for quick, ready-to-display mounting.
  • Warp-Resistant Wood Painting Panel: The MDF core stays flat and stable under heavy paint, palette-knife work, and mixed-media layering. A dependable alternative to canvas boards, canvas panels, and unfinished wood craft panels for professional art supplies.
